Only 10 of the 16 teams who set out in European qualification are still left in the competition, ahead of the entry of the top teams in the region. Andorra, whose victory over Norway completed the very first Rugby World Cup qualifying match, are still in it..just... but Spain look likely victors in that Round 3 pool. Germany against Belgium could well decide the winner of the other pool. Whoever wins through will come up against the likes of Italy, Romania and Portugal in September and October next year.
